Talk Science to Me is a one-stop shop; by contracting us, you gain a robust team with an immense combined wealth of versatile skill sets and expertise.

The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) is a non-partisan, non-profit and non-governmental charity founded in Canada in 1990. Its focus on policy research and analysis of sustainable development has garnered global recognition.

Since 2009, Eve Rickert and Debora Holmes have provided copy editing and stylistic editing for many IISD projects, including the Climate Risk Management reports and the Pimachiowin Aki UNESCO World Heritage site proposal. Roma Ilnyckyj has provided copy editing and proofreading services since 2013, most notably for the institute’s State of Sustainability Initiatives reports in 2014 and 2016. For both of those, our designer Jeff Werner handled design. The 2016 report involved proofreading from copywriter Amy Haagsma. Roma also oversaw copy editing for the institute’s Trade and Green Economy handbook, Gender and Energy Sector, and Climate Readiness reports.

Our team provides interdisciplinary support for IISD, working closely with communications and publications staff at the organization in order to create highly polished, easily accessible documents that accurately reflect IISD’s mission.

One of IISD’s key objectives is to make information readily available; their archive is freely accessible to all readers, and Talk Science To Me is proud to have worked on dozens of the publications available within it.

For examples of the full-service projects we’ve handled for the IISD, see State of Sustainability Initiatives and Trade and Green Economy.
